Interconnected bike wheels! A juicer on a metal pole! Brilliant and crazy games, all the way from Barcelona. Come and enjoy!

“We arrive with our van and unload about one thousand kilos of junk in the street. Then we start putting everything together and you could see strange shapes and bright colours all around. There’s and old bed with a saucepan on. An orange juicer attached to a pipe. Five bike wheels linked one next to the other… These are only a few examples… How could be possible to play with all that?

Then we put balls, discs, magnets, mirrors, and other accessories and our games are ready.”

Each game presents a challenge and everybody around can try their different skills. Games for all ages, where we can all play together.

Guixot 8 is the first Catalan company in Spain that turns the game into a street show. It does collect the testimony of popular games and “cucaña” so deeply rooted in our country and also one of the first companies in Europe that carries games by streets and squares. But it is the first to do so with original games, self-made and built with materials recovered, first, from the ragpicker, and then with the junk generated by the contributing towns of the Mancomunitat la Plana.
