MeríDio means to share in Greek. A dance of dialogue and intermingling, reflecting migrations and intersections, MeriDio celebrates the different movements and influences of hip-hop dance. Coming from Cyprus, Italy, Greece, France, and Bolivia, five women inspired MeríDio. Each dances with her own culture, codes, and language. All come from other choreographic styles and all have chosen hip-hop dance as a means of artistic expression. Choreographer Mehdi Diouri wanted to bring them together, blend their sensibilities, and combine their energy.

MeríDio is a feminist and internationalist hip-hop bombshell that reminds us that all cultures are about sharing and that women are an integral part of the gender they have shaped and moulded. By sharing their differences, they invent a new way of dancing today's world.
