This autumn, discover different ways of experiencing technology at Bell Square, Hounslow. 14 and 15 November, French artists Aérosculpture transform the night with Flower Power – a spectacular installation of spinning, multicoloured light.

What happens when light becomes a flower?
As darkness falls, Bell Square will fill with luminous circles, concentric flashes and seemingly endless spirals of colour.
Combining digital technology, electromechanics and hundreds of tiny LED lights, Flower Power creates the illusion of multicoloured flowers suspended in space. As the lights spin, their traces merge and overlap, forming mesmerising patterns that continually change shape.
The idea began when Aérosculpture was experimenting with ways to recreate the rings of Saturn around one of its giant inflatable planets. By combining light and speed, the artists discovered a new way to create spectacular rings of light.
Each sequence lasts around eight minutes, with the installation presented on a continuous loop. Come along, stop for a while and immerse yourself in a luminous world of movement and colour.
Join us for the festive lights switch-on
On Saturday 14 November, the Mayor of Hounslow will switch on the town-centre festive lights at Bell Square at 5pm, followed immediately by Flower Power.
The installation returns on Sunday 15 November, offering another chance to experience this extraordinary display.

Two ways to experience technology differently
