Firebirds - Pyrodise

In Pyrodise even the smallest flame will dance up a storm. Be entranced as the creatures who inhabit this land celebrate fire, movement and manipulation.

This joint production of Firebirds and Flame Flowers companies commemorates the sudden loss of their friend, Linda Farkas. The show was inspired by her life and work – special and unique.

Performers: Anna Weszelovszky, Róbert Haáb, Lennart Paar, András Mező, Dorottya Podmaniczky, Sophie Zoletnik

About The Firebirds

The Firebirds circus group formed in 2000. Their repertoire embodies fire shows, street performances, cabaret, contemporary circus and children theatre.

As the team evolved, in 2010 Freak Fusion Cabaret emerged from a wide range of performers, musicians, dancers and circus artists. The collective’s aim has been to deliver creative and quality entertainment to a broad variety of audiences through the context of new circus.

Being self taught enthusiasts, the members are constantly pushing their limits and gaining teaching skills, whether within a workshop, a gathering or a convention and constantly seeking new horizons. After the show ends on stage, there is always work to do, so they share responsibilities and duties among themselves.

The Firebirds are keen to participate in the international scene as well as in the emerging world of Hungarian new circus.
